THE HAPPENINGS

THE HAPPENINGS is a collection of free form jewellery that finds  inspiration in the discarded elements of the studio. Projects, fuelled by intention, take shape they generate various offcuts and scraps. It is in these incidental forms and shapes that new potential is born. Bringing the remnants into the spotlight, the elements are explored, upcycled and constructed into new, fascinating structures.

By embracing the flow of these free-forms, the materials are considered to  hold their own intention – their own agency. Honouring this notion of material agency, the pieces guide the hand of the maker.

THE HAPPENINGS is an exercise in material collaboration and embracing the incidental.
